Downsman Bowls Club Update - January/February 2024

Happy New Year to all our members and those who come across our website.

Short mat is now in full swing with county and friendly matches well underway.

We have reached the quarter finals of the county cup and sit top of North East Div1

Our friendlies are also going well, winning 4 of 5 played so far.

NEW
On Sunday 21st, a team from the Downsman won the county mixed fours plate at Westergate -
Congratulations to Steve, Jo, Jas and Dan (see pic below)

Also on Sunday 2nd Feb, the club beat a very good Arundel team in the County Cup to qualify for finals day on March 16th at Westergate - well done team.
