DOWNSMAN BOWLS CLUB UPDATE - December 2024 Part 2
Our 2024 Charity.
Every year we raise money for charity which in the past has included the likes of Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance, Blind Veterans, The Alzheimer's Society and many others.
For 2024 we supported Parkinson's UK and via a number of events throughout the year, we raised £350 which was presented to Katherine from the charity.


Shortmat County Competitions
December saw the county mixed fours and pairs take place at Worthing and the Club was represented in both.
Roz & Tony Ludbrook paired up with a couple from Horsham Dragons in the fours and came 4th out of 16, Chris Jeffrey (new member) paired up with his Steve (his Dad) from Infinity to win the pairs with Jo Streeter and Steve Maslen (Horley) coming runners up.
