A reminder of Tony's e-mail about the roadworks in Ifield Avenue
You may have seen the signs that state that Ifield Avenue is closed from 8pm til 6am between the 11th and 20th August.
Luckily the evening league games have finished but the closure includes 1 club night, Monday 17th.
I have spoken to West Sussex Highways to understand the details and they confirm that the whole road will be closed but not necessarily all at the same time, its just to stop access.
However, while they acknowledge that the diversions to allow access to and from residential households is ok, and the leisure park has an access to London Road, the businesses like ours are somewhat tricky.
What they did say was that every effort will be made to allow cars to exit our car park but we may need to wait a few minutes while they move vehicles etc.
To avoid any hassle, the club night and league will start at 5PM on Monday 17th and everyone needs to be finished and out of the club by 7.30PM.
