The Downsman Bowls Club finished top of North East Div1 after a terrific finish to the season, taking 18 points from 18 and beating Ashington by a single point.  This is brilliant given every other club play all year round. 

We will be in the County Wide Div2 next season, a tough challenge indeed including travelling further afield.
