Alongside the county shortmat leagues, there are a plethera of other competitions to which some of the Downsman Members take part, the latest being County Triples.

Congratulations to Trish, Jo and Steve who finished 3rd, beating some tough sides along the way.  It was great to see them doing so well having finished twice finishing 4th with Colin in the two recent 4's competition.

In addition, Roz, Tony and Colin who sadly missed qualifying for the main competition (just losing to our other team), managed to reach the semifinal of the plate before losing to the eventual winners.

So all in all not a bad few weeks for the club.  Attention turns to the pairs on Dec 18th, with Roz & Tony, Colin & Trish and Jo & Steve all vying for further success.
