The final county competition took place at Westergate today, with 3 pairs from the Downsman participating.  It is fair to say that none of us were at our consistent best with only Trish & Colin making it out of the group stage into the knockout stage.  This meant that Tony & Roz and Jo & Steve entered the plate.

Unfortunately, that is as far as it went for Trish, Colin, Tony & Roz but Jo & Steve played better as the day progressed, helped by Steve changing his woods, and made it through to the plate final before losing to a good pairing from Southbourne.
