Downsman Bowls Club Update - Oct 2022

Club Finals Weekend
This was held successfully over 4 days last month.  Steve Maslen having appeared in 6 finals, managed to win 5 of them and so congratulations to him and to Simon Schofield for beating him in the Men's Singles and so preventing a clean sweep.
Congratulations to Val for the organisation and to all winners, finalists and volunteers who all contributed to the success.

Shortmat
Now the outdoor season has ended, with the club winning 75% of friendly matches played, our attention turns to shortmat, with both rollups and matches (county league and friendlies) underway.
