Downsman Bowls Club Update - September 2023

Following on from last months update (see News Items) where the club was successful on several fronts, September saw us host our club finals.
The weather was very kind to us with the sun shining on both days which encouraged a large number of members to watch the proceedings.
We were grateful that our President, Jim Justice, was on hand to present the trophies to the winners and commiserate with the runners up.

End Of Season
Sadly we have come to the end of our outdoor season and the full list of friendly match results and player stats can be found under Member Info - you will need to login.
The green has been put to bed for the winter - scarifying, hollow tining, seeding and top dressing - by a small but enthusiastic team of volunteers - see Photo Galleries for more details and see how much work is involved.

Shormat Rollups will begin on the 9th October and matches against other clubs are being added to the website starting with a friendly away to Fittleworth on the 8th October.
