Downsman Bowls Club Update - June 2023

The external leagues have now begun in Mid Sussex, Border League and Nellie Mercer.  So far the results have been pretty good and long may in continue although we have some tough games to come.
We also continue to do well in friendlies, apart from the odd blip.

Recruitment is going well as a result of our Open Day, held on May 27th under Bowls England's Big Bowls Weekend banner.  We have 5 new members already with some more to come.

Later in the month, we entertain some students from St Wilfrid's school who we met last year as part of their BTECH sports course.
