Downsman Bowls Club Update - May 2024

Nominated Charity
We are proud to announce that the Downsman are supporting the Parkinsons UK charity this year.  It is a great charity and we will be holding events throughout the year to raise as much money as we can.

Bowls
We are now well and truly under way with a couple of matches under our belt.  Hopefully the weather will improved as the weeks go on and we can be as successful outdoors as we were at short mat.

We welcome a number of new bowlers to the club and who are already active in rollups and matches.

Our internal competitions have been drawn and are all on the website (members only) or on the noticeboard at the club.

Open Day
We are again holding an Open Day on Saturday 25th May between 10am and 4pm, please do come along and have a go.  We are a very friendly club and all you need is flat shoes, we provide the rest incl refreshments.  For more information contact Tony Ludbrook on 01293 535646
